There are several sources of funding available for individuals and businesses. The following are some of the most commonly available:
Career Development Loans
We are a Professional and Career Development Loans registered Learning Provider, registration number 20174. A Professional and Career Development Loan is a commercial bank loan that you can use to help pay for work-related learning.

Business Link lists many types of local enterprise funding as well as other sources. These change frequently so it is worth checking regularly to see what is available to support businesses and individuals in your local area.

Construction Companies in the Levy Scheme in NI can get funding for courses listed in this brochure. Please go to the following webpage for more details, and search for Woodward as a course provider:
Construction Companies in the Levy Scheme in England, Wales or Scotland can get funding for NEBOSH and IOSH courses under Grant A09 – Technical and Professional Attendance. The courses which we offer that are listed as eligible are the NEBOSH National Construction Certificate and the IOSH Managing Safely course.
You can claim up to a maximum of 35 days per person each Grants Scheme year at £50 per day.
Grant is available for full days of off-the-job training, on approved technical and professional training courses, in construction-related subjects only. More information can be found here:

The Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP)
The LEP skills service supports small and medium-sized businesses based in the Leeds City Region to grow with support and funding for training. A team of expert advisors will work with businesses to identify their skills needs and help find the right training. Eligible businesses could also receive grants of between £500 and £50,000 to support with up to 50% funding for training costs. Advisors work with businesses to create a robust application for funding, supporting with all paperwork.
The training provision is employer-led, enabling businesses to design their own solutions and plug gaps in the market. The funding is available for a limited time.
